The Company is in search of a Vice President, Finance to spearhead the strategic financial planning and analysis for the business. This senior leadership role involves leading three teams: financial planning and analysis, product finance, and business insights, and requires a candidate with a proven track record in a similar capacity, particularly within the property and casualty insurance, insurtech, or other highly regulated environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the direction for these teams, running the company's annual plan and long-range financial model, and overseeing all financial aspects, including forecasting, budget tracking, and variance analysis. A key aspect of the role is to present financial results and recommendations to the executive and leadership teams, and to lead strategic finance work such as business cases, growth and pricing analysis, and scenario planning. Applicants for the Vice President, Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity. The role demands a leader with deep knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics, as well as experience in a startup or fast-growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of insurance financial metrics, experience in supporting board-level financial reporting, and a background in investor relations and capital and treasury management. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required, with an MBA being a plus. The role also requires advanced skills in financial planning and BI tools, and the ability to influence senior leaders and manage a team of 10.
