The Executive Dean will be responsible for the College's academic vision, faculty and staff leadership, research and creative enterprise, educational portfolio, student success, budget, resource generation, and long-term institutional health. Key responsibilities for the Executive Dean include advancing a future-facing vision for the liberal arts and sciences, preparing the College for the impact of artificial intelligence, and building on high-potential areas of research and creative strength. The role also involves helping traditional fields respond to changing student demand, strengthening student outcomes, and leading the College toward long-term financial sustainability.
