The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for leading the finance organization, overseeing fund finance, investor reporting, external audits, and the firm's accounting and controls. This role is pivotal as the company raises successor funds, expands its institutional investor base, and scales its real estate portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of closed-end real estate fund structures, extensive experience in real estate fund audits, and a proven track record in producing institutional-quality LP reporting. They should also be adept at real estate finance, including property-level debt, construction lending, and fund-level credit facilities, and have a strong command of promote, carried interest, and distribution waterfall mechanics. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years' in a senior finance role within real estate private equity or institutional real estate investment management. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Real Estate is required, with a CPA being strongly preferred. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, commercially minded leader with the presence and communication skills to represent the firm with various stakeholders. Experience with real estate fund and property accounting platforms, as well as advanced Excel and modeling skills, is essential. The CFO will also be expected to support real estate fundraising, engage with investors, and ensure compliance with regulatory filings.
