The Company is seeking a Head of Valuations for its Private Markets Platform Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the valuation function, with a focus on private market investments and other Level 3 assets. This role requires a deep understanding of private markets valuation, including the assessment of complex, illiquid, and Level 3 investments across various sectors and stages of maturity. The Head of Valuations will be tasked with owning the end-to-end valuation framework, leading quarterly and ad hoc valuation processes, and providing independent, commercially informed challenges to valuation conclusions. They will also be expected to maintain and enhance valuation policies, procedures, and methodologies, and to act as the primary valuation contact for various internal and external stakeholders. Applicants must have a strong command of valuation methodologies and financial modeling, as well as the ability to apply sound judgment to incomplete or evolving information. Leadership experience, executive communication skills, and a strong control mindset are essential. The role also demands a proven ability to influence across a matrixed organization, build effective partnerships, and drive technology and data transformation. Advanced analytical capabilities, proficiency with AI, Excel, and valuation tools, and program and change-management capability are highly valued. A background in private markets valuation, investing, transaction advisory, audit, fund accounting, or a related discipline is required, with an advanced degree or professional qualification such as CFA, CPA, or ASA being beneficial.
