This pivotal role involves shaping procurement strategies across critical commercial categories to enable business growth, drive innovation, manage risk, and maximize value from strategic supplier partnerships worldwide. The Executive Director will be a trusted executive advisor to senior leaders, leading a global team, and will be responsible for procurement excellence, category management, supplier performance, and business transformation initiatives. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree with at least 16 years' of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with at least 14 years' of experience. An MBA or equivalent advanced business education is preferred. The role requires extensive experience in global procurement, particularly within complex industries such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in commercial procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier relationship management. Proven success in leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, exceptional executive presence, and strong commercial acumen are essential.
