This senior position is pivotal in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs, with a strong focus on leading application systems analysis and programming activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with multiple management teams to ensure the integration of functions, identifying and defining system enhancements, and resolving high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation of business and system processes. Expertise in application programming, adherence to architecture blueprints, and the ability to develop standards for coding, testing, and implementation are essential. The role also involves providing in-depth analysis, developing innovative solutions, and serving as an advisor to mid-level developers and analysts. Applicants for this role at The Company should have 6-10 years' of relevant experience in applications development or systems analysis, with a proven track record in managing and implementing successful projects. The ideal candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert in at least one area of applications development, possess strong leadership and project management skills, and demonstrate clear and concise communication. Technical skills required include proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Angular, and Reactor, as well as experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native technologies. Knowledge of DevOps practices, REST APIs, and experience with AI/ML and data engineering are also highly valued. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a Master's degree being preferred.
