Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Mobility & Services
About the Role
Remote (anywhere in Europe)
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its mobility and services division. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving profit improvement, and data-driven management, and will have a strong background in private equity. This role is pivotal in the company's transformation, with a focus on realizing higher returns on existing revenue. The CFO will be a key member of the Executive Board, working closely with the CEO to enhance the financial function, connect financial and operational data, and strengthen control over cash, working capital, and financing. Experience in a robust recovery or transformation situation, a deep understanding of operations, and a proven track record in translating financial analyses into concrete improvements are essential. The ideal CFO for this role at the company will have a background in a labor-intensive, operational environment, with experience in bank financing and a strong affinity for data, digitization, and private equity. While a background in transport or logistics is a plus, it is crucial that the candidate has a history of working in an environment with many practically trained employees. The role requires a leader who takes ownership, offers a firm, factual counterweight to the CEO, and is adept at managing margin, profit, and cash. This business-minded individual must also be capable of leading change and ensuring that improvements are effectively implemented, with a focus on building a more profitable, data-driven, and better-manageable enterprise.
