Responsibilities include reviewing submissions to ensure they align with the company's risk appetite and business strategy, generating new business by collaborating with brokers and prospective clients, and being market-facing to cultivate new relationships. The role also involves in-depth analysis of complex risks, performing underwriting activities, and demonstrating a strong customer service mindset. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with a minimum of 3-7 years in the industry. Advanced knowledge of SDI underwriting, risk engineering, construction operations, or construction risk management is essential. The role requires excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as expertise in Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with AI platform usage in a business setting is a plus.
