The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel with a focus on real estate, financing, and data center development. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support in a variety of transactional matters, including property acquisitions, leasing, financing, and operational activities. This role requires a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, active membership in at least one U.S. state bar, and 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate, financing, and/or data center-related transactions. The Associate General Counsel will be involved in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents, identifying legal risks, and working with business teams to ensure the compliant and business-aligned execution of all legal processes. Key responsibilities for the Associate General Counsel include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate documents, supporting financing transactions, and assisting with data center development matters. The ideal candidate will have experience working with lenders, developers, utilities, and/or data center operators, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams. The role also involves conducting legal due diligence, maintaining organized legal documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The Associate General Counsel will be expected to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and to identify opportunities for process improvement within the legal function.
