The Company is in search of an experienced Head of Tax to lead a team of three tax experts in a dynamic, international environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for further developing the group's tax strategy to minimize tax risks, expanding and managing the Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS), and ensuring tax compliance across various obligations. This includes overseeing tax returns, documentation, and reporting for corporate income tax, VAT, OSS, digital tax, and sales tax. The role also involves managing external advisors, collaborating with tax authorities, and contributing to financial statements in accordance with IFRS. The Head of Tax will be expected to support growth initiatives by providing tax expertise and to foster a positive team culture within the tax department. Applicants for the Head of Tax position at the company should have a completed degree in economics or law, with a focus on accounting/finance, and have successfully completed a relevant tax assessment or examination. A tax advisor exam is required, along with sound professional experience in tax consulting or an in-house tax function, ideally with initial management experience. The role demands a candidate with very good Excel skills, a strong hands-on mentality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Excellent German and English language skills, as well as strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, are necessary. An international mindset, strong team orientation, and the ability to build trusting relationships within the organization are also key attributes for the role.
