The Company is in search of a Head of Finance & Accounting to spearhead the transformation and leadership of its accounting and finance function in Germany. This pivotal role demands a technically strong finance leader with a proven track record in operational excellence, transformation, and people leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a team of approximately 15 finance and accounting professionals, owning the full spectrum of closing processes, and ensuring compliance with HGB and IFRS requirements. Additionally, the role involves managing external audits, driving finance transformation initiatives, and partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to build a best-in-class finance function. Applicants for the Head of Finance & Accounting position at the company should ideally hold a qualification as a Wirtschaftsprüfer (WP) and/or CPA, with a strong background in HGB and IFRS accounting. The role requires a leader with a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset, strong analytical and reporting skills, and advanced Excel capabilities. Experience in leading teams through transformation, restructuring, or organizational change is essential, as is a pragmatic, execution-focused leadership style and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
