The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, including corporate governance, commercial contracting, procurement, compliance, and claims. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full spectrum of in-house legal department activities, with a focus on providing practical, business-oriented legal advice and solutions. The Assistant General Counsel will be expected to have a JD from an accredited law school, be licensed and in good standing in Florida, and have 7 to 9 years of legal experience with a strong background in commercial contracting, corporate governance, and compliance. Key responsibilities for the Assistant General Counsel include handling day-to-day corporate governance, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and providing legal counsel on strategic planning, regulatory affairs, and employment matters. The role also involves managing claims and disputes, both independently and in collaboration with outside counsel. The ideal candidate will have strong business judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
