The Company is seeking an Interim Head of Accounting to provide strong and hands-on leadership to an international team of approximately 15 FTE. The successful candidate will be responsible for stabilizing the team, leading in the areas of people management, and ensuring process discipline, particularly in the integration of the accounting organization following several acquisitions. This role demands a confident and resilient leader with a focus on setting clear expectations, addressing resistance to change, and enforcing the consistent application of newly established group processes. Strong expertise in SaaS accounting and a sound understanding of IFRS requirements are essential. Key responsibilities for the Interim Head of Accounting include leading and stabilizing the international accounting team, establishing clear responsibilities and accountability, and driving the harmonization of group-wide accounting processes. The role also involves supporting the integration of acquired businesses, ensuring the reliable delivery of financial closing processes, and working closely with senior management and external partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading and stabilizing teams, particularly during periods of change, and experience in international multi-entity organizations. Strong people management skills, the ability to address resistance, and experience in private equity, buy-and-build, or post-merger integration are also required. Fluency in German and English is a must, and experience with NetSuite and LucaNet is beneficial.
