The successful candidate will be a proactive and creative problem-solver with a passion for impact investing and sustainable finance, particularly in the context of emerging markets. Responsibilities include leading research on market trends, deepening the company's presence in existing markets, identifying new markets for expansion, and envisioning strategic collaborations. The role also involves business development, including proposal preparation and submission, and supporting project implementation through the design of plans and the delivery of policy and research outputs. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10-12 years' experience in impact investing, sustainable finance, development finance, or government/multilateral partnerships, with a proven track record in business development. The role requires a strong network of relationships across emerging markets, experience in securing funding from various sources, and the ability to manage and mentor a team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the impact investing and sustainable finance ecosystem, with direct experience in the company's focus geographies being an advantage. Excellent communication skills, the ability to operate with autonomy, and a willingness to travel extensively are also essential.
