The successful candidate will be responsible for the stable operation and continuous development of the IT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on the hybrid Microsoft system landscape. This includes operational support for servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and networks. The role also involves overall responsibility for the SAP and MES landscape, ensuring the availability and integration of business-critical systems, and managing external service providers. The Head of IT will be a key figure in the further development of information security, as well as in the management of IT projects and the enhancement of structures, processes, and standards within the IT organization. Applicants for the Head of IT Infrastructure and Business Applications position at the company should have a strong background in the operation and development of Microsoft-based IT infrastructures, particularly in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Experience in managing ERP and MES landscapes, with a focus on the SAP environment, is essential. The role requires a hands-on mentality, the ability to motivate and develop international teams, and a proactive approach to IT management. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong service orientation, and the ability to be a sparring partner for various stakeholders in all IT-related matters. Negotiation skills and proficiency in English are necessary, with German language skills being an advantage.
