The Company is seeking a Head of IT Infrastructure and Business Applications to provide professional and disciplinary leadership to an international IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the stable operation and continuous development of the IT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment, including the administration and optimization of a hybrid Microsoft system landscape. This role also involves overall responsibility for the SAP and MES landscape, ensuring the availability and integration of business-critical systems, and the further development of information security. The Head of IT will manage IT projects, and structures, and be a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders in all IT-related matters. Applicants for the Head of IT Infrastructure and Business Applications position at the company should have a strong background in Microsoft-based IT infrastructures, with experience in servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, virtualization, network, and IT security. The role requires several years of management experience, particularly in motivating and developing international teams, and a solid understanding of production processes and their IT requirements. Experience in managing ERP and MES landscapes, especially in the SAP environment, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on mentality, be willing to work operationally in the Microsoft infrastructure, and possess excellent communication, negotiation, and service-oriented skills. English proficiency is a must, with German language skills being an advantage.
