The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission of providing equitable access to nutritious food for children and youth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the executive leadership of functional departments, including marketing, fundraising, operations, program delivery, and volunteers. This role requires a seasoned leader with a transparent and high-integrity approach, at least 5-10 years' of senior leadership experience in a not-for-profit organization, and a proven track record in fundraising and revenue diversification. The CEO will oversee the execution of the strategic plan, ensure the organization's goals are met, and maintain strong relationships with the Board of Directors, government agencies, and community partners. Key responsibilities for the CEO include identifying resource and programming needs, developing business plans, and leading the team to foster growth and high performance. The role also involves financial management, including budget preparation and oversight, and ensuring the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong relationship builder, and have a background in working with a Board of Directors. A university degree in a related discipline is required, along with a Police Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening Check. The CEO will serve as the spokesperson for the organization, enhancing its image through visibility and collaboration within the community.
