The Company is seeking a Head of Portfolio and Investment Risk to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive risk methodology and toolkit for the portfolio, with a focus on measuring and monitoring risk across various asset classes. This role involves keeping risk models up to date, providing insights into portfolio and strategy risk, and actively participating in the investment decision-making process with an independent risk perspective. The Head of Portfolio and Investment Risk will also be tasked with stress-testing the portfolio and individual investments, as well as integrating risk insights into the performance review cycle. Applicants must have a minimum of 20 years' experience in portfolio or investment risk, with a strong quantitative background and exposure to a broad range of asset classes, including private and public equity, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be skilled in multi-asset-class modeling, have deep experience in total portfolio approach, strategic asset allocation, scenario analysis, and stress-testing. A background in a mature, established risk function is essential, with international experience being a plus. The role requires a balance between setting the overall risk agenda and being hands-on in the day-to-day details, and the ability to work closely with investment teams and committees is crucial.
