The Company is in search of a VP of Finance & Administration to take on a pivotal role in leading the financial and administrative functions of the organization. This executive will be responsible for the monthly and year-end financial close process, preparation of financial statements, management reporting, and providing financial analysis to the President and ownership. The role also involves leading the annual budgeting process, developing cash-flow forecasts, managing banking relationships, and overseeing general ledger, AP, AR, billing, payroll, and bank reconciliations. The successful candidate will be expected to establish and maintain strong accounting policies and internal controls, monitor operational performance, and lead annual audit activities. Additionally, the VP will be a key partner in strategic planning, capital allocation, and organizational decision-making, and will lead, develop, and mentor the accounting and administrative team. Applicants for the VP of Finance & Administration position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years' in a leadership role. A background as a Controller, Director of Finance, VP Finance, or similar is preferred, along with experience in managing the financial function of a privately held or entrepreneurial organization. The role requires a strong understanding of financial statements, GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and internal controls, as well as experience in managing or developing accounting personnel. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, and/or MBA are a plus. Experience in acquisition, due diligence, or integration, and exposure to multi-state tax, banking and treasury management, and insurance and risk-management oversight is also desirable.
