This role also involves overseeing the financial performance of the organization, managing event sponsorship and membership campaigns, and ensuring the Chamber's financial stability through effective budget management and fundraising efforts. The Executive Director will serve as the primary spokesperson, championing the interests of the Black business community, and will be accountable for the Chamber's strategic planning, advocacy, and public policy initiatives. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and have a minimum of 7-10 years' experience in executive leadership, with a proven track record in strategic planning, organizational development, and financial management. The role requires a candidate with strong customer service skills, a passion for collaboration, and a drive for fundraising.
